"What kinds of pens are you into"

I dig Waterman fountains for everyday use, though the Parker fountain pen that I picked up isn't shabby. The converters for all of those are fun to play with. They're like syringes. Hmm...I should get red ink. I'm using purple with one and green with another. The Waterman Ecolier that i have uses regular blue cartridges though because that one i keep on me.

What I use for Copperplate practice though are calligraphic nibs on a barrel that my friend got for me from Harrods.It's a weighty piece and is lovely to handle. The nibs that i'm using now for it are Hunt Imperials. They are very unforgiving when it comes to stroking paper the wrong way which is good for learning the script. They also scratch skin really well. Oops wrong tribe :)

What I've only been able to play around with and don't own are the glass nibbed stylos...I didn't think they would hold as much ink as they do but all the groves around it work wonders. One day maybe.

All in all it's Waterman's that i'll come back to seeing as I haven't the farthings for anything more expensive. Though I was bemoaning my plight to get some Reynolds monobloc Ecoliers a few months back. I'm dying for that nib again but France's answer to Office Depot will not service dirty Americans....

This is awfully long. I'm sorry. I just love talking about pens as much as using them/practicing with them. What are your favorites?

Anyone have good experiences with a favorite disposable?
